UltraVNC

I've been using UltraVNC for many years.
Running latest version 10962 with hook drivers installed.

These same issues have been plaguing UltraVNC for a long time. If fixed would make it a pleasure to use.

UltraVNC should have the ability to filter big blocks of IP address ranges.

For example I live in belgium, I want to only accept connections from Belgium.

UltraVNC.ini does have Authhosts. But its not designed for doing partial IP address ranges.

Example:
Server listening on port 1000
Server LAN IP: 192.168.0.23
Connect to the server on 192.168.0.23

Server establishes a PPPoE connection to the internet, gaining an internet IP eg: 196.41.22.44
UltraVNC Connection is Lost upon PPPoE connection establishment or loss.
Its not a big deal, but ...

OS: Windows 2000 (also experienced this with XP)

UltraVNC running as a service, user 'Administrator'.

When logged in as a user, the UltraVNC File Transfer utility only has user privelages, when logged in as Administrator, the File Transfer utility has Administrator privelages.

In the File Transfer Dialog
A button that lets you Run (ShellExecute) a file or application, normal, or minimized.
Able to run the executable as another user (Administrator) etc.

Instead of getting all complicated with the repeater, it would be nice to just have a commandline option to tell the server to make an outgoing connection.
And a command line option to tell the viewer to listen.
It would make things soooooooooo much simpler!

When you enter a password in the server Admin thats > 8chars. Instead of just beeping it should pop up a messagebox saying "Please encrypt for longer password".

Saving encrypted password would be nice also!

And also option to save passwords for connections that use encryption. (even if the vnc file is not secure, should still be possible. VNC file can be stored in Truecrypt)
