I'm using UltraVNC to connect to my PC at home. It's running windows 10 and everything worked fine until this week. I could connect but for some reason I couldn't use the keyboard+mouse. I thought I disabled external input in the admin prop. window but when I got home and checked this wasn't the case. So two days later (today) I checked again with the help of someone at home and again I couldn't do anything, until the person at home opened the admin window tab and suddenly I regained control over the keyboard and mouse!
Is this a known issue? And if so, what can I do about it?
I'm also having problems with mouse and keyboard on a Windows 10 pc.
I'm using a Mac with screen sharing to connect to my Windows 10 pc with Ultra VNC Server 1.2.0.6.
First I thought it is a screen sharing problem with the Mac. But I also tried to use a iOS vnc client to connect to my Windows 10 pc and the input didn't come through.
The iOS vnc client used to work with the same pc while running Windows 8.1.
I'm wondering if Windows 10 and the combination of ultravnc isn't working properly.
The strange thing is. While using screen sharing, the input of keyboard and mouse works sometime, but sometime a need to nudge my mouse on my Windows 10 pc and then all the missing inputs from my Mac, comes along.
For example:
- I connected with my Mac to my Windows 10 pc.
- I press command on the Mac. -> Nothing happens on the Windows 10 pc
- I move my mouse on my Windows 10 pc -> Startmenu pops up
