Looking for tips on removal of client

I've been using the SC AutoIT version from 9/28/08. Sometimes for one reason or another the machine gets rebooted without UNVC SC being uninstalled first. In some of those cases it's ok for me to call user and work with them to uninstall. In other cases I wish I could somehow silently uninstall ...

Re: Release: SCBuilder 2009 (based on 1.0.5.3) Vista Compati

I have used this tool to create server.exe and listener - It crashes when I try to perform larger file transfers (not using clipboard, in fact not touching pc while files are copying).

I saw some notes about notray but it's based on 1.05.2. Does anyone have advice on for people who want to do ...

Re: Release: SCBuilder 2009 (based on 1.0.5.3) Vista Compati

I've been trying to get the Logo to look better - I found that if you make your original image 142x119 and save the jpeg at 100 quality it looks acceptable. Be nice if it could use bmp format like the original SC.

Is it possible to run mutliple viewers on one machine and have clients click on different entries in the PcHelpWare_SC_GUI based server setups?

Does it help to use multiple ports or does that not matter?

Very interested in whatever workarounds are available although I'm beginining to ...

PcHelpWare -Multiple remote sessions to 1 support desktop?

In SC I can have a company connect to me on my desktop from several remote machines at once - very useful for troubleshooting client server issues or doing updates on an entire small office at once. I haven't figured out how to do that with PcHelpWare. Is it possible?

Thanks

PcHelpWare_viewer - mimize to tray - keep running

Here are my suggestions for parameters (longer names to make example clear)

PcHelpWare_viewer.exe -listen:myserver.phw -minimize_to_tray -stay_running_after_session_close

I wrote a simple AutoIT3 script to launch PcHelpWare_viewer.exe and go into listen mode. The way I got it work was to tab ...

Simple migrate SC to PCHelpWare instructions?

I believe most SC users are techs who have written helpdesk.txt files where each entry represents the IP and Port of machines they might use to support a remote user. Then they port forward as needed on their firewall/router so their viewer.exe's can listen for and communicate with the remotes from ...
