Now all puters work.

Re: Stuck on "Negotiate protocol version" solved [
After testing all sorts of workaround I tried setting changing the port forwarding. I got a connection to 192.168.0.13 (computer "C") when I port forwarded 5600 to "C" instead of computer "B". I gave "B" port 5600. Now "B" won't work and "C" does.

Stuck on "Negotiate protocol version"
One computer (XP) just refuses to connect and displays the "Negotiate protocol version". The are a lot of postings on that here. No silver bullet.
I've got three computer (all XP). The problem computer is on 192.168.0.13 (computer "C").

Just follow the instruction in the help pages and you can set up logo, buttons to yourk liking. Also scan through the PChelpware directory for BMP and resource files and look for the bitmaps and how you can change them.

Port 5500 is closed but direct connection still works great?
A few weeks ago I went through a lot of trouble setting direct connection. My router (Conexant Hasbani based) just flat out refused to let direct connection through. Lately I have been trying to set that router again to no avail. I've set the "Virtual server" port 5500 open for TCP/UDP but still no ...

I've set the port forwarding on the home router. I think it should work since my clients have Pchelpware with direct connection set and they all work fine. When a client has a pc question they run pchelper server (direct connection) that I've sent them and I run the viewer at my end. Everything ...

How to have pchelpware server not quitting after viewer quit
I want to connect to my home pc. The home pc is running a repeater. When I want to control the computer from outside I have to call someone and have them push connect. Is there a way to do that remotely?
Now I have a program running that clicks the connect every few minutes. Is there a better way?

Re: help with repeater
The main thing in getting pchelpware (if you want to have your own repeater or direct connection) going is having your router have the necessary ports open (5500 and 5901).

Re: setting router
Couple more things.
When I press "create server" I get an error message "failed to set dynalias" allthough "dynalias" is not checked. Then I get "failed to find external ip". I just enter the ip 88.xxblah-blah. It then asked does user have enter a password and I choose no.
