I have a similar problem. Past forum messages indicate that there were problems running DSM plug-ins in linux under wine, but hint that the latest versions fix the earlier problems.

Does DSM encryption work in linux now?

I am using the 2006/08/16 version of MSRC4plugin_Noreg.dsm, and version 1.02 ...
