Playback is just a blank screen?

No playback is perfectly OK (image and sound). The only problem is that the file is big because sound is uncompressed.

This has nothing to do with the problem. The question is using Screen Recorder to record screen activity, image + sound. Both are stored in a AVI (Audio Video Interlaced) file, but this file is huge if sound is activated, because the sound is uncompressed. Sound Forge cannot compress an AVI file. If ...

Screen recorder is an excellent tool, thanks.

I found that the sound is not compressed. whatever value I use in audio options (tried PCM, mp3 and others) the result is the same :

10 sec test record without sound : 500kB
same test with sound : 2500kb.
This means that 10s sound takes 2MB, which is ...
