I second the request. Ultr@VNC has some interesting features, but you have to connect to the server's desktop before you can use them. That is you can't chat, transfer files,... without taking control of the server's desktop.

I have two questions for you:
How about file transfer without first having to connect to the desktop of the server PC?
It would be very handy to be able to start file transfer with a server-PC without first having to take over the desktop of the server. If one only needs to get or drop some files ...
