Complete uninstall and removal of directories. Reinstalled full version on both machines.
I am now able to use UltraVNC as it was intended.

Geek in me wonders what was the problem but it is working now.

Enabling UAC (reboot) did not help. The mouse does not even track. Should I try tightVNC or one of the other flavors?
I use VNC Viewer to remote into the other computer. I do have server on both computers if that matters.

I have installed and running the winvnc service. So I think I did and I go to administrative tools | services and see vnc-service.
I have disabled UAC.
It is strange how I connect with zero issues but just like in view-only.
