Standard UltraVNC works well as server only for Mac but is there any possibility of SC for Mac?

Error Message - No VNC server selected

Have built own version of SC successfully and sent as email attachment to several people. Some successfully connect but others get error message box ....'No VNC server selected.'
Can anyone throw some light on this?
Otherwise its brilliant !
