I am attempting to automate installation/setup of the WinVNC server and the MSRC4Plugin.dsm.

Can somebody explain the DSMPlugin registry value fo me? The documentation appears to conflict with the actual usage.

If I understand correctly, the feature you are requesting is already implemented vie the registry value:

HKLM\Software\ORL\WinVNC3\AuthHosts

In order to avoid disruption of remote users, we connect with the "View Only" option selected, then, when we have determined that the remote machine is not in active use, we disable "View Only" in order to take control. Obviously, this is a tedious procedure using the viewer menus.
