I would like to copy mostly text. But it could be anything.

I don't have the file transfer window open.
I can transfer automatically from the host to the client.
It won't transfer from the client to the host unless I select the UVNC icon in the top left, Clipboard, Request all formats now.

I'm getting an error saying:

VNCViewer Message box.
Server closed connection
Your connection has been rejected

This happens on ver. 1.4.3.6

What is causing this? How can I stop it?

It could be a lot of things. Make sure the ball of your mouse is clean.

When you connect you can choose the Display - Auto scale screen option.
You can choose the option after the connection by clicking on the icon in the upper left, selecting Display, selecting Auto scale screen.
Or you can add a command line option when starting the viewer. /autoscaling

If the ultravnc.ini file is different in any of the PC's you can create a program with AutoIT to only change the password. It's a free program. You can automate the changing of the password on one PC and then automate it to run on a list of PC's.

Is the firewall blocking it? Try turning the firewall off and then see if it connects. If it does turn the firewall back on and open a port in the firewall for it to work.
Is the Antivirus blocking it? Try turning the Antivirus off and then see if it connects. If it does turn the Antivirus back on ...

If it's still in Program files you can use a free program called Revo Uninstaller to remove anything that is left over.

If you click on your user name it will take you to your profile.

Does anyone have a suggestion on how I can add Audio when connecting to a remote PC with UVNC. I would like to hear the Audio playing on the remote PC .

I just installed UltraVNC 1.4.3.6. on multiple PC's
Now I can't copy the clipboard from or to any of them.
They are all running Windows 10.
I had an earlier version of UltraVNC on all of them and the clipboard worked fine.
I do have Clipboard, Enable Automatic Synchronization checked on all of them.

I'd like to find a way to access a windows PC behind a Starlink.

I have UltraVNC setup on my local PC. I can connect to my remote PC if it's on the same LAN.
When I connect the same remote PC on port 5907 to a remote Starlink I can't connect to it.
The Starlink has a router but I can't configure ...

I was told by someone that there is a cmd line option called /Dir=
It's not documented within the UVNC cmd line documentation.
I found that does make the install go into a custom folder.
This is my cmd line:

"VNC UltraVNC_1_4_06_X64_Setup.exe" /verysilent /loadinf="C:\Dnload\9xAddons\VNCsetup.inf ...

I am using a .bat file to install UVNC.

This is the cmd line I am using:
"VNC UltraVNC_1_4_06_X64_Setup.exe" /verysilent /loadinf=C:\Dnload\9xAddons\VNCsetup.inf" /NORESTART

When I use the "/verysilent" or the "/silent" switch it ignores the install folder defined in VNCsetup.inf

With the new version the Select button does stay selected.
The VNC port always changes to 5905.
It doesn't make any difference what number I put in there when I select Apply it changes to 5905.

When I configure the vnc port it reverts back to 5900.

I go into Admin Properties, Network, Select, VNC Port 5901
When I select apply the select button goes blank and the port changes to 5900.

What can I do to get it to stay at 5901?

When I try to connect to a new install of UltraVNC I get a message saying "authentication rejection".

In the new install I do have my rc4.key that I have used for many years.
I also have:

I have one PC running ver. 1.2.1.2. I just installed ver. 1.3.8.1 on a new PC. I can't connect to it from my first PC.
I have about 35 PC's running ver. 1.2.1.2.
How can I install ver. 1.3.8.1 on my first PC so I can still connect to the old versions while I am updating them to the latest versions?

Why is it that I have one PC that displays the black screen without the background.bmp and without the arrow and another PC running the same version of the software that displays the eye.bmp without the arrow? Or the background.bmp with the arrow if I place it in the directory?

When I Toggle Remote Input and Remote Blank Monitor it displays eye.bmp on the server. The viewer does see the correct server screen. I would like the server to display a blank screen.

It's usually malware software that will delete UltraVNC.

I installed UltraVNC_1.0.9.6.2_x64_Setup.exe When I right click on the tray icon, DSM Plugin, check use, select MSRC4Plugin-118.dsm, click on Config. I get an error saying "The Plugin cannot be loaded".

Even though I used the x64 software I noticed WinVNC about shows UltraVNC Win32 Server 1.9.6.2 ...
