UltraVNC

A while back, a few people (including myself) were having problems getting their custom icon working, even when they followed the steps correctly. There were some tedious ADDITIONAL steps to get it working, like downloading an icon editor software and messing with some options.

But I was wondering ...

anyway, i tried that and it didnt work

I have also downloaded the program from multiple computers and theyall have the default vnc icon.

so your saying instead of naming it "icon1.ico" we should name it "icon1.exe" ?

I believe we have all done that.

Problem isnt fixed

I cant get the icons to show PERIOD.

Im trying to make them in photoshop
32x32

I have tried both bmp 16bit and 32bit.

Am I doing something wrong? Everytime I upload the zip, the default VNC icons take over.
