Does a 64bit UVNC viewer work with a remote 32bit UVNC server an vice versa?
Does a 32bit UNVC server/viewer work (successfully) on a 64bit WinOS (e.g. Win7)?

Does UltraVNC offer a "broker server"? Or firewall
Approx 2 years ago I evaluated UltraVNC and found it necessary to adjust the firewall rules resp. setup a NAT port forwarding to enable a connection. This is not comfortable for most users. So I switched over to TeamViewer where this is not necessary due to a "broker server" in the middle. Now I ...

TeamViewer = The better UltraVNC !!
Just a few days ago I found a tool "TeamViewer" available for free from http://www.teamviewer.com It is based on VNC and is supported by a lot of major companies. It has all the features of UltraVNC and (for my very important) it can handle NAT port forwarding WITHOUT the need to configure routers ...

Starting server before viewer should be possible!!!
As I had to notice the viewer should always be started BEFORE the server. This is absolutely inconvenient and unrealistic. Think of two scenarios: 1.) I want to access from my university/office my home computer. I cannot start the viewer then run within 10 seconds home and start the server. 2 ...

Does it matter who is "online" at first: The serve
Is it important who is running at first: The server or the viewer ? Is it important for both scenarios: Direct connection AND with repeater ? Using the term "server" is very confusing in PCHW
The usage of the term "server" is very confusing in PcHelpWare's world. In contrast to the remaining computer world teh server does NOT "serve" as a server but initiates the connection. Whereever else a client-server architecture is working the client is requesting services from the server !! Think ...

I want to establish a connection with NAT2NAT.
Do I have to register the user which I have to enter in NSC.exe and NVC.exe somewhere (outside my computer) before?
Or is it completely up to me which user+password I enter as long as
the client(viewer) knows this username + password?

Nat2Nat: Must winvnc.exe run too or only NSC.exe ?
Sorry for this newbie question.
If I want to use a Nat2Nat communication:
Must winvnc.exe run too or is it sufficient if NSC.exe runs?
In other words: does NSC.exe contain the function of winvnc.exe or
alternatively does it start winvnc.exe automatically when connection is established?
