Maybe the distributor service is running on a machine (on the INTRANET) where already an IIS or Apache is running on SSL port (443) for internal services but has a lot of free capacity. So I would map the firewall external port 443 to another internal port (e.g. 44343) on this machine (port ...

I’m also noticing when using the regular vncviewer.exe, if i use a port with less than 3 digits, ex. 80 it will change it to 5980 instead of just 80

Connects only to port 5900, why?

Hello and happy new 2006 to all of you.

I’m noticing that when I run the vncviewer_ssl.exe it always try to connect to 5900 port no matter what I set as port on the repeater setting, I’m sure this may be something only on my computer but I cant figure where or what to change.

that is good but not what was looking for, when giving remote support you don’t know the ip address for the remote computer nor sometimes where you will be to give this remote support

Restricting ip address will work o some limited cases

Repeater Feature Request

Would it be possible to implement a password or some kind of authentication between the cline or viewers and repeater to ensure that only authorized clients and viewers are able to connect.

The reason I ask this because I feel if I leave a repeater open other people may use it as well.

Thank you
