I had this problem several times, and always had to use the onscreen keyboard. If ultravnc had this option would save me a few clicks.

I second this and add a feature request related to this.

When failed to connect there could be this options:
1) "wait in queue" for when refuse more than one connection is selected on the server and then warn if you want to retry;
2) "wait for it to be online" and then warn if you want to retry ...
