From what I've noticed, the drivers help more with processor load than with visual speed, though I'm sure it does both.
After installation of the driver I've noticed the load on the PC drop from a constant 20-40% CPU usage to only 4-7%, so the driver can make a big difference!
Installation is ...

Can I remove wallpaper in Pchelpware settings like uvnc??
Is there any way to configure the settings for pchw like there was for uvnc?
For example: removing the wallpaper, tracking the cursor, changing performance settings based on connection...all that good stuff.
Perhaps there is some way to do this from the commandline?
Thanks.

PCHW Bug?? Freezes on Print Screen
Has anyone else experienced this?
When I'm in session with a client using PCHW, every time I hit the print screen button, the session freezes and I have to restart it...
Is this a Bug?

Re: Track remote cursor only w/PCHW?
Any ideas....if not, I'm assuming there's no way to track the remote cursor only. Dang
Then perhaps it can be a feature for the next update?

Track remote cursor only w/PCHW?
Is there any way to "track the remote cursor only" with PCHW? I know it was a feature with uvnc...just curious...it gets a little annoying watching the cursor on the server side chasing my mouse movements everywhere.
Thx.

Should I hold Off on PcHelpWare Rel 1.0?
My company is looking to start a client initiated Internet support system, but I wasn't sure if I should use PcHelpWare or Uvnc SC?
Whats your vote?
Is PCHW rel 1.0 stable enough to use for critical support or should I wait for a while and use SC for now?
Let me know your thoughts.
Thx

Bob-
Just keeping pounding away at it and you'll get it eventually! When I first started using ultravnc it was a bit confusing, but I just kept testing it and messing around and I finally understood how it works. I'm sure you can do the same with pchelpware; it's more straight forward than it looks ...

Sorry to bring back an old thread, but the same thing is happening to me. Is there a tutorial or something that shows how to add the video driver? Thanks.

Re: Were changes made to 1.0.2?
I seem to be having a similar issue except I started w/version 1.0.2.
I configured everything correctly (listening ports, forwarding, etc), but nothing happens on my end (the viewer side). Any ideas?

Made Custom SC..what now?
So, I created my own custom sc, compiled the exe, put it on a machine outside my network, configured port forwarding on my firewall....but when I run it on the machine outside my network, nothing happens....it tries to establish the connection for 5 min and uninstalls...
Do I have to run something ...
