Can't open specified config file for reading

Post by shedmeister »

I just installed Version 1.4.3.6. Not sure what the 'UltraVNC Launcher' icon accomplishes over the 'UltraVNC Viewer' icon, except maybe to not have to type my password every time. So I created a server config in the launcher using the 'Add' method, gave it a name, then when I click on it, it says "Can't open specified config file for reading". Poking around I see some config files in c:\Users\<me>\AppData\Roaming\UltraVNC, but not the one I just created. So where do they go? Also not in C:\Program Files (x86)\uvnc bvba\UltraVNC.

The launcher create a subfolder when it's writable.
\UVNC_Launch.exe
\uvnc\rudi.vnc
\uvnc\uvnclaunch.ini

In program files
\Program Files (x86)\uvnc bvba\UVNC_Launch.exe
AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\uvnc bvba\uvnc\\rudi.vnc
