Black Screen Issue During Remote Control (Version 1.8.2.4)

Hello,

I am experiencing an issue with UltraVNC version 1.8.2.4.

For the past one or two updates, I have no longer been able to remotely control my users' workstations properly. When I connect, all I get is a black screen.

I now have to perform the following two steps before I can access a remote workstation, which is particularly inconvenient on a daily basis:

- Ask the user to lock their Windows session. At that point, when I connect, I can see their screens.
- Then ask the user to unlock their session and minimize all windows until the desktop is visible on both screens. Once the desktop is displayed, I can finally see the screens correctly.

Without these steps, it is impossible for me to access the remote computer's display.

The issue occurs on both Windows 10 and Windows 11 PCs.

However, when the user has only one monitor, the connection works immediately and I can see their screen without any problems.

Has anyone encountered this issue before or knows of a solution? It is quite frustrating to have to ask users to perform these steps every time I need to remotely access their workstation.

Does other has the same iisue on a multi mon system

I can not repeat it on my own multi mon server, it has to be some edge case that trigger it

server 1.8.2.4 viewer all version ? fail

server is runing as service, you connect while the user is loggon on
Is winvnc started in a rdp session ?

Need more info, current ni clue.
