Connect thru/piggyback on AIM/IM connection?

What if VNC connections could be initiated thru or on top of an AIM connection (or other IM connection)? Would this be of use to anyone?

I'm thinking of cases where both server and viewer are behind NAT routers and cannot set up port forwarding, and/or don't have DynDNS set up or otherwise don't know how to find their public IP address, and/or are behind a NAT router with a dynamic LAN IP.

For example at work here I can set up inbound port forwarding to a particular IP address, but my laptop is set up for DHCP. If a remote user in a Starbucks hotspot needs to initiate a reverse connection to me I either have to change the port forwarding or change my IP address. But if we could piggyback on the ports opened by AIM then it would be simple.

Does anyone else think this would be useful?
