I am currently testing the windows vista beta 2 and was wondering if there were future plans for having UltraVNC work with it. Currently it does not. Any thoughts, ideas or news on the subject?
Liam

Re: Windows Vista and VNC
Thank you for the quick reply. I did know about the RDP, however on my current network VNC is the best alternative. There are so many advantages to VNC over RDP. Just make sure you place the Encryption files in the correct folder this time. It's annoying to have to keep copying the files from the plugin folder to the main folder just to get it to work.
Thanks Again,
Liam
Thanks Again,

Re: Windows Vista and VNC
I am just hoping that it isnt going to be tied in the RDP in anyway.. Being a seperate application with totally seperate ports is a hugh advantage..

Offer to help beta test Vista
Hello,
I am new to this forum, but have been using VNC for years. Recently, I have become very interested in SC as a support tool... especially when combined with a service wrapper like Advantig SingleClick.
I have a Vista box running and would be willing to beta test VNC (especially SC) on Vista.
I am a strong technical user and although I have done some coding (Mostly perl, some C, JavaScript, Fortran, etc) I would NOT consider myself a developer.
Not sure if this is the correct forum for this post, but wanted to offer my help.
Paul
