I really would like to see multi-monitor support without having to run the server as a service. For security reasons I do not want vnc server automatically be started. Instead when I need it I or somebody else will start the server. Unfortunately, having to start the vnc server (or restart the server) is more complicated then simply just start a server program.

Of course I still would like to have the option to run it as a service. Neverthless, multi-monitor support should not depend on this.

Why not create a simple batch script:

net start "VNC Server"

and save it on the desktop. This way, the service could be started as easily as double-clicking on an icon...
