Get file from server (.net, asp.net)

Post by massa95 »

Hi there i'm making a webapp for showing some graph (using d3) for the last exam of my school (it's not for money, just for didactical use).
The problem is that i must get a file from another pc and they told me "use uVNC, it's open source so you can use it in your software", but how ?
I don't have to use nothing of graphic, just getting the file from the uVNC server when i ask it.
Thanks for help.

Using vnc for a simple file transfer is overkill.

You just need some client/server tcp sample.
You need a sample to read/write a file.
Combine both ...
uvnc is c++, try to find a .net sample.
