Using DSM plugins with Browser interface

Post by PAF »

Using UVNC over both the wider Net and over a VPN and using non standard ports has been very successful. However I cannot use my Browser (Firefox) with any of the plugins. I take it the browser also needs some kind of plug in to make it aware of the encryption?

Browser interface works fine if no encryption is selected. I am (for testing purposes) using only the password generated encryption seeding, but eventually will probably use the shared file method.

I have the same issues with MSRC4 no Reg, and AESV2.

If I am right in thinking Firefox needs a plugin 1)is it made? 2)what is it called? 3)where is it available?

Thanks PAF
