Let me explain my subject line...

What I have in mind is something that's based on 1-click, but elmininate the need for manually, interactively selecting the destination, and clicking connect. It'd be fully automated upon boot.

This can be done on a recovery partition that the use can activate via boot menu, or it could be incorporated into a live O.S. CD (bootable WinPE or 98). Once the connection come thru to us, we can initiate a ghost restore.

This would be perfect for remote disaster recovery. Has anyone attempted anything along those lines?
