Remove Server Lock/Unlock Button

Post by scrooge313 »

Hi,

is there any possibility to remove the lock/unlock button from viewer during session?

It is needed that the getting helped user can always stop the session when it's needed.

At the moment the helping viewer can lock the user input, and that's not good.

Regards,

sorry for upping, but the problem still exists.

Does anybody knows a solution? It's very bad, when the viewer can lock the user input.

You could always fork the code, I suppose, to eliminate that button from the interface. The fact is the user at the machine can ALWAYS regain control by pulling the network cable, restarting the machine, and/or disabling VNC.

This is somewhat simpler if using a one-time Single Click solution rather than a permanently installed server / service.

(And if you don't trust the person coming in via VNC to not lock you out, why are you letting them control your machine at all?)
