pchelpware RC3 Access servers....

Post by djSupport »

Hi there chaps,
The access servers,
Are these the Repeaters? so If I wanted to use the repeater I'd enter the IP of my server here?
Or is it something entirely different?!?!?
Thanks for your time...

I've spotted that these access servers aren't for repeaters, the developer hasn't released to code to create your own yet ;)

This software seems to be exactly what I need. Is there any way to set up my own access server now? Or will I have to continue using the public ones?

This is the "access server" used to connect viewer/server.
It's th same bin that run at our own servers.

Rudy, three years ago, I've written tutorials on PCHelpware French: they are available from the french site http://www.jconseil.net.
Today, now I'm trying PCHelpWare V2 RC3 with computers running Windows 7 and prepare new french documentation on this version. There is no problem connecting locally, but I cannot connect to the net. Do the two servers 216.55.178.47 and 62.213.66.133 operate normally, are they still available and operational, do they work continuously. In cases where these servers are not operating normally, can I install an experimental server?
I prepare a site remote control with volunteers and I would like to PCHelpware V2 available on this site: a full-scale experimentation for PCHelpware V2! Thank you for your quick response.
Of course all French documents on PCHelpware V2 will be available to all from the site or forum uvnc

3 post above you have the download link of the server.
http://www.uvnc.eu/download/udconnect.exe

This is the exe that run on our 2 connection servers. Both servers are current running.
216.55.178.47=usa
62.213.66.133=europe

You can install your own server by executing the udconnect.exe.
You can change the connectserver in the viewer and value should be pushed to the
server you create.

Internal, udt is used as network protocol. This is reliable udp no TCP.
we use the rendezvous part to pass the nat routers.
http://udt.sourceforge.net/udt4/doc/t-firewall.htm
Some firewals doesn't like nat punching...
