Repeater File Transfer Speed

Post by toorroot7 »

Hi

I am new to this forum but very old user of UVNC. we deployed UVNC in several systems and most of them behind router we use repeater for that purpose

Why file transfer speed is slow using repeater its like 25kbs to 17kbs max on 2mb connection speed ?

Without repeater direct wan connection it works fine

Using UVNC 1.1.8.9 on win7 machines

Tried both repeaters 2010 and 2011 no difference

Is there any things need to b done to improve speed ?

Using a repeater, the repeater recv and resend the data, this already double the amount of data.
The lag also have an influence, packet need to be received before next is send.

The only thing you can do is to minimize the viewer window, this give priority to file transfer.
