Hello rudy, i know now viewer has a local ini for settings but is there a command line switch to use new scale server option?
I think scale server is a great function and now it works in reverse mode too.
Thanks for these new updates.

Hi,

We are using uvnc in windows 8.1 x64 - touchscreen.
The problem is:
When we login from server to pc the pc don't pass in maintenance mode (please note that under Windows 8 the screen will not be locked).
How to fix this problem.

Thanks,
Graniti

When we login from server to pc the pc don't pass in maintenance mode ?
Please explain
What vnc option are you trying and fail ?
vnc running as service/application ?

We need to be able to repeat the issue, please try to give as many info as possible.

Thanks for the feedback

Hi RUDY!
Thanks for all the work you put into this code.
I've been using it for years... don't think I could live without it.

Question -
Typically I run virtual machines using virtualbox. I don't like the 'remote desk' capability of virtualbox, and I use 'vbheadlesstray' to launch the vm. SO, I've got UVNC installed, and love it. I can attach 4 VM's to my laptop without denting the laptop's available memory / CPU...

But now I have a linux machine. WIn10 is shaping up to be a pile of horse dung :surprise:

Is there a 'uvnc server' for linux?

Hi Rudi,
I've been evaluating this latest release for some time. Here's a list of small bugs for you to squash!

1) Idle Detection - The Idle timeout client disconnect doesn't seem to be changeable, or is not consistent. Often I look away from the PC for a minute and then I'm disconnected (even though I've set timeout to 240 seconds). I've also been disconnected whilst actively using the remote!

2) File Transfer - The Idle timeout cuts in during file transfers, causing unexpected results (last attempt crashed viewer and left server inoperable)

3) Minimised / Backgrounded Viewer - Harder to pin down, I notice problems with connection if the viewer is backgrounded (or minimised) and then resumed. On resumption, there can be a long delay before connection returns to normal. Any attempts to interact seem to be stored in a buffer which are suddenly all executed at once when connection becomes 'live' again

4) Lags - often when moving the mouse quickly, but especially when dragging a window, there is a clearly visible slow-down where mouse movement is no longer directed by the user, but appears to follow 'historical' positions (e.g.: that which has been stored in a buffer). This makes movements of this kind difficult and slow and in my opinion doesn't offer an improved experience; it may seem smoother but you're no longer in control!!

Otherwise, this is one of the most stable and fastest builds that I can remember

Hello Rudi,

A quick question for you.

I am running this on an older computer (from 2008). It has the latest Intel graphics card driver using the Intel autodetect software downloaded form the Intel site. In any case, when I log in, and I run a program, the screen turns white. It doesn't do this on my newer computers. Any idea what could be causing this? The program does take control of the screen, and I suspect it is causing the issue.

If mirror driver is installed try to disable use mirror driver in the server options.
