Server Closed connection Manual closed Network disconn

Post by epllana »

Hello UltraVNC team,

Recently I installed latest version of UltraVNC 1.2.2.4 it worked fine on both of my workstations at home. I was able to access them from anywhere using DDNS. As of yesterday I am able to access only one workstation but no the other, even when I am at home using IP address at my home LAN. Nothing has changed this happened all of the sudden.

I am using UltraVNC 1.2.2.4 server as Service
I am using UltraVNC 1.2.2.4 viewer
I am using SecureVNCPlugin64.dsm

I am getting this message

Server Closed connection
- Manual closed
- Network disconn

I tried uninstalling UltraVNC 1.2.2.4 and re-installing it didn't help. Amazing thing is that it works fine on my other workstation that is on the same network with same configuration settings, only Port is different.

Can you please help. Thank you very much.

A)
Usual this is caused by some other software that block the vnc port
1) temp disable some security software to determ the cause
2) possible you need to add the exe or port to the firewall software.

B)
Try running it as application and connect.
It could by that vnc popup some message. Running as service this could be hidden as the services doesn't have a desktop.
