vncviewer 1.2.3.1 open a dialogbox

good morning
when I open vncviewer version 1.2.3.1 the mask always appears to open an option.vnc configuration file
by clicking on cancel button the normal vncviewer screen appears

I reinstalled, but was still having troubles. Same dialog window appeared when opening Viewer - asking about options.vnc file. Luckily, the problem was solved after restarting computer.

Likely your Viewer was running while the new package was installed. So your Viewer exe was locked. The installer does schedule a "rename" task for next reboot then to replace the file on reboot. It's essentially the same reason why Windows needs to restart each month after Windows Updates; to replace locked files.

Make sure you close down all UltraVNC processes (Server, Viewer...) before running an installation in order to avoid having to reboot.
