[EN] Multi-screen support / [FR] Assistance sur multi-écrans

Post by Gowapinou »

[EN] Hello
What setting should be placed in the VNC configuration file (or command line) to automatically open the VNC console of a computer that has multiple monitors?
How to indicate the size of the VNC window to have an assistance display without vertical elevator (set the height of the window in number of pixels and request an automatic adaptation of the height of the remote screen)?
Thank you for those clarifications that I cannot find.

[FR] Bonjour,

Check the viewer options, tab display.
[v] change server resolution and select the resolution you want.

There are also a log of other options you can play with when you don't want the change the remote display size.

[EN] Currently, the VNCviewer opens a single screen. We can indicate in the configuration file whether we want to display screen 1 or 2 or 3, but I can't find an option to tell it to directly display all screens, i.e., screens 1 and 2 and X... And not having to press the switch button between screens X times in order to reach the display of all screens simultaneously.
If this option exists, please let me know the page that presents this option.

Display Window Height/Width: Depending on the client computer and the server computer, the screen sizes (monitor) are generally different. The idea would be to open the visualization so that the vertical remote (server) display scale is automatically adjusted in the VNCviewer window without vertical lift. Have a parameter like this: VerticalScale = AutoNoScroll. The adjustment should be automatic when changing the height size of the VNCviewer window. Of course, the method can be adapted to horizontal display with a HoritontalScale = AutoNoScroll.
