UltraVNC msi settings available on documentation ?

Post by pk-vnc »

Hello everyone,

I have tried to test some automated installations on our company (~200-300 pc) centrally,
due to some problems I cannot use GPO (not all pc's are on domain) BUT I'm using several other utilities like PDQ Deploy or other web utils that need msi installer

My problem is that I need a good parameter section on running .msi install on both x86 and x64 editions of msi
Could not found anything on the documentation other than
/quiet ....

I need for example some kind of parameter to have
(a) how to set an auto password (other wise my install is "blocked" and I have a uvc GUI waiting for password set ....)
(b) no icons installed on desktop

Also I believe the "direct url's" for downloading the msi from internet is (regarding latest edition ...)
https://uvnc.eu/download/1381/UltraVnc_1381_X64.msi
https://uvnc.eu/download/1381/UltraVnc_1381_x86.msi

(notice the capital X and the lower x on editions ... !! )

Would be great to find some extra help on that, if anyone knows more I'd be glad to hear and share my thoughts
Many thanks
