Unauthorized access attempt?

Post by tiagocoelho2 »

Is my UltraVNC being attacked by brute force?
Windows event viewer:

Unable to find description for Event ID 2 in source "UltraVNC". The component that generates this event is not installed on the local computer or the installation is damaged. You can install or repair the component on your local computer.

If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event. OBS. there are many events with different IP.

The following information was included with the event:

02/04/2023 15:50:40 Invalid attempt from client 106.13.223.201

The firewall has the following configuration:
Active port only local subnet port 5800 and 5900
Disabled port for internet (only manually enabled) port 5900.
Ultra VNC 1.4.0.9 with secure plugin

If 106.13.223.201 isn't one of your own ip addresses someone else tried indeed to connect to the server.
