Upgrade using GPO

Post by UltraMan2024 »

Hi Everyone
Been stuck on this for awhile, before moving on to a different way to install I thought I would ask.

1- Windows Domain computers - using GPO software install from shared drive. Old verison 1.2.7 installed
2- INI file copied from server to all clients
3- REG for ACL for MSlogons merged to all clients.
Been working great on all systems. No issues.

Wanted to upgrade to the newest version.
Figured I could just do the same setup

Deployed the MSI same way but this time using 1.4.3.1
Software installed, should not have to send the ini or reg files again but I did just for fun.

System looks like it updated.
PROBLEM
when connecting to the client we get Server Connection rejected.

I tried a few ideas that I seen in the forum without success.

If I manually install the software on the client I dont seem to have any issues.
I am thinking some setting is being missed, maybe I need a new REG file or INI

Any suggestions would be great. If you think I should move on to using SCCM thats an option
Just help me out with that if you could.

Thank you for any help or ideas.
