Server icon in Vista

Post by shnoogie »

Hello all

It seems that Vista does not like the custom icons in PChelpware.

If I generate the server file on an XP machine, the icon appears fine under XP, but as the default EXE icon under Vista.

If I generate the server file on a Vista machine, it defaults to the standard yellow VNC icon on both XP and Vista.

Any ideas?

thanks!

EDIT: I figured it out. You have to create a Vista specific icon, and then it will stick. The only problem is that it won't do 128x128 or larger.
