Single Click Kills my Internet Connection - PLEASE HELP!!!!

Post by networkn »

We had been using SC just fine on 2 HOST PC's in our office for over a year. We support 100 remote sites and its been ok.

About 3 months ago I started having a problem with MY PC whereby at a random time after taking remote control, the connection would hang/drop and so would all IP traffic from my PC to any other on our local network.

I have changed the switch, nic, drivers, reloaded the OS, cables, basically everything I can think of. I CANNOT seem to determine what is causing this problem. What can I do to resolve this??! I have Also tried varying version of VNC on the host. I use default port 5500, and the other PC working fine uses 6500. We have tried rebuilding the exe but that didn't help either..
