Windows Key + Command

Post by penguin22 »

It'd be great to be able to send a lock computer command to the Server. I don't believe that the Windows Key + L is an option right now and if you try to do it it just locks my Windows XP local workstation rather than the remote server (also Windows XP)

Thanks,

David A. Evans

You could pass ctrl-alt-del and choose lock computer from the corresponding option window.

heh :D

Another way, to make things slightly easier, is to make a shortcut on the desktop, or quick launch, or a batch file, with this command.

rundll32.exe user32.dll, LockWorkStation

Good luck. :)

It would be nice to see this feature, but there are way to work around this issue. For instance you can open windows explorer by left clicking on the start bar and chosing "explore".
This space not for rent.
