i have made many many test, before write this topic.
scenario:
vncviewer started in listen mode with /password parameter
server
using dsmplugin and connect via command line: winvnc -connect -ipaddress:port -run in reverse mode
viewer stay about 10 sec in connection status on "password requested" before connection estabilished.
if start winvnc and manually add new client insert address, connection is fast
if i disable dsmplugin there isn't any delay, connection estabilished fast in commnad line and with add new client
After more 2 000 000 (two million) views on forum for 1.5.0.x development versions... and 1.6.1.0, 1.6.3.0-dev versions
