Is there a way to transfer files via the command line?

Post by adrianh »

Having to click through the hierarchy is a real nuisance, there must be some way that I don't have to do all this clicking. Has anyone else had this issue? A command line utility would be great or as a second (less liked) option even to get it to remember my last local/remote directory locations and maybe have a button to reset the local directory.

Thx.

On a related note, I'm finding that when I copy a directory, that sometimes the files don't get transferred. I'm overwriting a directory and it looks like some files were deleted but not copied over. It's quite annoying as I have to repeat the copy procedure a second time. There was no error, it just seemed to have wiped the file it was supposed to copy over.

Indeed, there is no commandline for it.

Why is that? Is there a way to get the feature requested?

Thx.
