Windows 11 on arm64

Post by o.madsen »

Have anyone tried UltraVNC in emulated mode on arm64? (I guess an native arm64 edition is out of scope).

It seems that the arm64 architecture is getting more and more popular, and I have to be able to support these devices as well.

I haven´t had the chance to try an arm64 machine yet, but wonder if anyone have tried, and if it works?

Unless all low level driver interaction is emulated it will fail, server will sure fail.
The viewer only interact with user level, could work, but never tried

I have had the opportunity to test with a Lenovo Yoga arm64 device - UVnc can install and run, but unfortunately it will crash when evoking a session and validating password, leaving an event message that it crashed on module path C:\Windows\System32\SAMCLI.DLL
