Not offical, but files are online for certification testing:

Bridge works like our own P2P until we made but now we use a better library https://librats.com/, it make use of google servers instead of our own.

I'm trying the bridge feature, but it doesn't seem to work. UltraVNC Viewer stays on this screen.


I know it's still an alpha feature but I think that from a graphical point of view the bridge code should be visible more clearly.

About the new file Copy options....
I am connecting to my work PC from home via an Anyconnect connection. I am using a 50 Mbps connection, which is not bad.
When I copy a file on my home PC, say the file: UltraVNC_1716_x64_Setup.exe, even if the copy/paste is for the local hard drive to a local flash drive, I get the message "Connection dropped, trying to reconnect." and my ultravnc connection fails then reconnects.
Am I supposed to be able to copy a file locally then paste the on the remote PC or vice versa? Should copying a file locally cause my UltraVNC connection to fail/reconnect?

FT using copy/paste.

I tested both on LAN.
I using a 1.2 GB file.

File transfer: Do you get a popup with the filename and progress?

testing on wan i noticed thet the ft updates seems to generate artifacts in the encoder...could it be that ?

IGNORE i was testing wityh an RDP session and forgot to disable the RDP clipboard... so i was actual seeing this.

Yes, I am using 1.7.1.6 on both ends.
I was able to copy one small file on the local PC using Ctrl-C, I waited a few minutes then I pasted the file using Ctrl-V on the remote PC and the file pasted to the remote PC.
I tried to copy a very large file on my local PC using Ctrl-C and immediately the UltraVNC window displayed: UltraVNC Viewer - Connection dropped, trying to reconnect (3) (Not Responding). After several minutes it started responding again. I tried to paste this file on the remote PC. However I was prompted asking if I wanted to replace the previous small file I had already pasted.
I tried again by selecting a small file again then two medium sized files and when I click on the UltraVNC window it either shows: UltraVNC Viewer - Connection dropped, trying to reconnect (3) (Not Responding) or the UltraVNC window shows gray on the bottom two thirds of the window. I was not able to get another file to paste in the remote PCs folder.
My biggest concern is that copying a large file when the UltraVNC Viewer is connected causes the connection to drop, even if my purpose is to copy/paste from a local drive to a local drive.

I need to work as RDP.
CTRL+C just inform Server.
CTRL+V Server need to request Viewer to send file.
A progress dialog needs to show what's going on.

Will the new viewers FT be compatible with older server versions (at least with the previous release 1.6.4.0)?
Looks like they won't. At least not with localized folder names.
Don't you think it's a good idea to ensure compatibility between FT, the new viewer version, and older server versions? It would have to be copied to the hosts that are only accessible through it... Switching wouldn't be very convenient, especially if there are a lot of hosts.
