Integrated VoIP support in UltraVNC

Post by louk »

It would be genius if VoIP would be integrated in VNC and uses the same port. That would enable an perfect support for a customer, which needs advice.

An easy way for any application could be to make VNC able that they can dock to it and use it as a kind of tunnel.

e.g. VNC could listen to some ports. Data send to them is wrapped (as a proxy would be contacted), send over the VNC connection and released on the other side.

A quite handy freeware tool for VoIP is PicoPhone from Marko Vitez (www.vitez.it/picophone/index.html).

voice packets could be sent like file transfer packets etc over the same connection so there wouldn't be need for other connections i also saw on this forum that authors are going to add sound transfer support... maybe they would add such feature too.
