Hi,
I have read that automatic login for Windows is a strongly wanted and discussed feature, which seems to be hard to implement. Therefore I'd like to ask for a minor feature which is just to remember the last login name in the MS login I+II dialogs on the VNC client.
If that were possible, you would save about half of the typing required to log in to your remote machines (and that's a lot, if you need to login into 10 or more machines per day)...
Ciao, Michael.

Remember user name in MS login dialog
great that would be nice
does that mean that it will pull your login information from your loged in session, or the login information will just be saved in the .vnc file?
I think he means that it will be able to authenticate you based on your current logon credentials (like Outlook connected to Exchange Server, for example).does that mean that it will pull your login information from your loged in session, or the login information will just be saved in the .vnc file?

Sounds fine to me. I looked around on the page, but didn't find anything like a beta or test version. If you have something to be tested, I'd really like to throw it at our Active Directory and see what crashes first.Marscha wrote:I'm currently developping a new MS-Logon with optional single-sign-on.
It's basicly working and I expect that it will be integrated into the next version.
Ciao, Michael.
PS: Selbst schon ein Bananeweizen probiert?
Credentials are not saved in a .vnc file.
They are taken from the current session.
It's the same what IE does with IIS or Outlook with Exchange.
Please be patient with a test version, it's not available yet.
@Michael: Ich muss zugeben, dass ich noch kein Bananeweizen probiert hab.
Aber alleine die Vorstellung...
