Missing auth.dll after UltraVNC-Server-Upgrade

Post by Mang »

After executing the server upgrade installation (1.0.0 -> 1.0.0) to prevent the machine from requesting a reboot, I cannot login using MS logon.
Errormessage : You selected mc-login, but the auth.dll was not found. Check your installation.
So I have the reinstall 1.0.1, and that requires a reboot :-(
Does anybody know what I'm doing wrong, or is it a bug?

Best regards, Mang :-)

An upgrade requires the following additional tasks:

* Stop winvnc service by running net stop WinVNC.

Setup command line parameters

...
Additional tools

FastPush is designed to push a VNC setup to a (large) number of computers. It supports UltraVNC.

I installed UltraVNC via FastPush and I am getting the "auth.dll" error message. What can I do to avoid getting this message / fix the problem?
