Hi!
I have been able to connect to remote systems through UltraVNC using DialUp Connection..Can I do the same with SC.I tried making changes to the HelpDesk File and made an exe of execute SC.It says establing connection..and the icon goes off from the the system tray...and at the other system it says "Failed to connect to Server".
I know i won't be dealing with any routers and all that stuff here.....
Thanks & Regards,
Nimmi

Now I'm trying another type of connection..i.e using Windows 2003 server, Routing & remote access option i'm making a Dial up connection(phone & not internet)to the server using active directory username & pwd. There's nothing related to internet here, will be using only modem and phone for the connection. Is it possible to use Sc with such a type of connection.
Thanks & regards,
Nimmi
There use the tcp/ip protocol for internal usage using private IP subnet, not only for Internet
local computer need to use on demand automatic dial-up connection, then SC can contact the remote dial-up server waiting incoming connexion to vncviewer listening
-edit- you cannot use netbios name but only private IP address

at windows 2003 (helper who using vncviewer listening)
1. set and run service routing & Remote access option
2. run vncviewer -listen
at customer side (user of SC)
1. open and dial connection to the direct number of remote modem windows 2003
2. start SC should connect to the vncviewer listening on windows 2003
