How to not always have "save as default when connection

Post by akaidiot »

How do you set a default and not have the "Save connection settings as default" checkbox checked by default?

[mod=494,1126651998]moved from General help to Feature request because is not yet possible[/mod]

Here's what I do:

Make a connection the way YOU would like the DEFAULT setup to be, then close the connection. These settings are saved as the "options.vnc" file in your temp directory. Make this file read-only, and the vncviewer cannot overwrite your settings, even when the "save as default" checkbox is checked. Let me know if you need help doing any of this.
