MSVCP60.DLL is the MS C++ Runtime Library.
A lot of program will fail to run if it is missing or damaged.

It is located at folder c:\windows\system32, you may try to replace it by copying a good one from another same OS computer.

Or you can seek it at http://www.dll-files.com

You may need to register it again, at command prompt, run:
regsvr32 MSVCP60.dll

Having this error may be an evidence of damage of other system files, I suggest you to check the computer with SFC too.

The kicker was it is a fresh install of win2k with all the updates.. I found that kinda odd so I posted it to see if other users had the same problem. I just put a copy of the dll in the system32 directory and the pchw worked fine. I was really wondering what application was missing in the pc that would cause that?? I did a quick search on the net and did not come up with anything concrete. So we have a workaround posted on the forum in case another user comes up with it..:)
