Show progress on initial screen load

Post by NoFastidies »

I would very much appreciate a progress indicator on the initial screen load. I am running a Listening Viewer and users connect to me through UltraVNC (everything version 1.02). I get a connection accept dialog every time, the remote window opens (with correct dimensions) and then, in about 40-50% of the cases, the transfer just freezes. I have to kill the Viewer, restart it and try again, hoping that it would work this time. A progress indicator would at least tell me when to kill the Viewer. Better solution would be a fix for the problem, but I don't have much hope for that as I can't even reproduce the issue reliably.

I tried everything I could think of to solve the issue, including the removal of UVNC driver and using the "single click" WinVNC.exe instead of the regular WinVNC.exe. Nothing helps :-(
