I am having a problem creating new servers. I created several a month ago without any problems. Now when I go to create the server the cmd window popups (like it usually does) and then quickly goes away (fast enough that i can't see anything that it says). The last few times i created servers the cmd window would popup for 5-10 seconds and dissappear, now it is open for under 1 second and nothing gets created in myserver directory. I'm sure something is shutting it down before it can finish creating the exe, but I have no idea what.
Any ideas? Thanks

no, XP Pro. It's very odd. I'm not doing any advanced connections. It's actually quite simple. Direct connection, alias, password, port, auto map disabled. That's about it

Re: Problem Creating server
Sorry, I haven't been back to the forums for awhile. Pretty much I had been using PCHW for a little while, and then somewhere along the line I changed cmd's default start location to c:/ (through a registry edit)
http://windowsxp.mvps.org/autoruncmd.htm
After making this change I could not find the exe when I tried to create a server. The default cmd location was messing up create.bat.
Here is eschnell post about the issue:

It's been awhile so I can't remember anymore specific details about the problem but I'm sure if you made the Registry edit again you could see what happens.
