Send Custom key (experimental)

Post by X3 »

The feature that sends a custom key is quite noticeably experimental.

While it works getting a list of key codes is not hard but nonetheless needed if your going to use this feature...

While I dont know what the final view is on this feature my suggestion is that in the event that this is a feature to stay that a pop up table with the key and relevant code is introduced by choosing (clicking) on relevant character rather cut and paste or if anyone is that clever by memory.

Sending ASCII codes is not very helpful. More helpful would be to send keyboard scan codes.

I'm trying to send a Print Screen character to the remote computer, but this character seems to have been reserved for some other purpose. Frustrating.

I would love to see some custom buttons that one could configure to send particular characters, or character sequences.
